Pamela Goldsmith is available for private lessons in her studios in Northwest and Southwest Portland, Oregon. Pamela is also a guitar instructor at the St. Johns Community Center, and an adjunct faculty member at Linfield College (McMinville, Oregon), where she teaches private, group and chamber classes. Pamela performs classical guitar at local venues, private performances, special occasions and concerts.

Pamela received her Master’s Degree in Classical Guitar Performance from Portland State University in 2003. While working toward her degree, she was granted a graduate assistant position and gained experience teaching guitar classes at PSU.

A native of New England, Pamela received her Bachelor’s Degree in classical guitar studies from the University of Maine in Orono in 1993. In 1991 she was granted the first place winner of the Downeast Classical Guitar Competition held in Maine.

Pamela was first introduced to classical guitar by her instructor Joe Zuccala in Massachusetts. His inspiration and guidance prepared her for her future as a student and teacher. Since studying with Zuccala, Pamela has worked with Keith Crook at the University of Maine, Jeff Ashton and Bryan Johanson at Portland State University and Scott Kritzer in Portland Oregon. Pamela has performed in Master Classes for Ana Vidovic, Scott Kritzer, Scott Tennant, Carlos Barbosa-Lima, David Leisner, and audited a class by Sharon Isbin.

An Evening in Spain - (or as close as we can get in Portland) - - Michael Long will prepare a Spanish meal for up to eight twenty people and Pamela Goldsmith will provide live classical guitar music.
